Acquisitions finalized by the Colorado Avalanche from the Canadiens: there will be a Tricolore flavor in the team's lineup
They have made some bets that could turn into serious home runs for the next season, adding Ryan Johansen, Ross Colton, and Miles Wood.
However, the acquisitions that are garnering more attention in Montreal are those of Jonathan Drouin and Tomas Tatar. Considering that the Avalanche traded for Artturi Lehkonen in 2022, the three left wingers on Colorado's roster will consist of three former CH players who were part of the 2020-2021 edition.
With a real chance to compete for the highest honors this year, it would be quite special to see these three former Habs lift the Stanley Cup.
At $1.5 million for Tatar and $825,000 for Drouin, the Avalanche could have seriously gotten their hands on two of the best bargains on this year's free agent market.
