INJURY ALERT: Disaster for the NHL's top scorer as Jack Hughes appears to have suffered a serious injury

A few minutes ago, the NHL's top scorer, Jack Hughes, had a heavy collision with the boards and has not yet returned to the game as of writing these lines.

His head and shoulder took a direct hit from the boards. It was a tough sequence to watch.

Hughes has 20 points, including five goals in nine games this season. Things were going very smoothly for him.

Let's hope he is not seriously injured.
