We have rarely seen a situation as ridiculous as that of the Coyotes at the moment. Even though the team plays at Mullet Arena, a university amphitheater with a capacity of 5,000 fans, and the organization has to sign players who don't even play anymore just to meet the salary floor, Gary Bettman is stubbornly insisting on keeping the franchise in Arizona.

Just when we thought the situation couldn't get more catastrophic, Larry Brooks reported some new troubling information regarding the franchise. Indeed, several members of the Coyotes reportedly lodged complaints against their own team with the Players' Association.

Slap Shots has also learned that Coyotes' players have filed multiple grievances with the Players' Association over the course of the season for substandard transportation, accommodation, and logistical issues, in violation of the collective bargaining agreement.

According to Larry Brooks' statements, the players have had to stay in three-star hotels on several occasions during the season.

The NHL and the NHLPA will have no choice but to take these allegations seriously, as it's not normal for NHL players to face such treatment.
