TSN puts up a ridiculous trade proposal between the Habs and Leafs involving Auston Matthews

Auston Matthews will be in the final year of his 5-year, $58.195 million contract next season, notably including a no-movement clause for 2023-2024.

While many believed that the Leafs' star would leave the organization next summer, the player himself stated in today's end-of-season review that he wished to stay in Toronto and would be ready to sign a new deal before the start of the next season.

However, Kyle Dubas took everyone by surprise by mentioning that he wouldn't rule out the possibility of trading one of his four best players (Matthews, Marner, Tavares, and Nylander) if he had the opportunity to improve his team.




TSN didn't waste any time to propose a completely crazy trade between the Leafs and the Canadiens that would involve none other than Auston Matthews.
