As the first game of the Montreal Canadiens' season approaches, we got a sneak peek at what the team's lineup might look like for Wednesday night's matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

What stands out is Martin St-Louis' decision regarding the use of Rafaël Harvey-Pinard. The Quebec forward just got a significant setback, despite a good training camp, as he's been placed on the fourth line of the Tricolore.

After having some good moments last year, on the same line as Nick Suzuki, and even playing well on the team's top line during the last preseason game, the Saguenay native now finds himself placed behind Tanner Pearson on the third line, a player who was almost invisible in the preseason.

It will be interesting to see how the 24-year-old winger responds on the ice during the first games of the new season.

For those wondering, here are the expected defensive pairings for Wednesday:

DO YOU BELIEVE IT'S UNFAIR TO SEE RAFAËL HARVEY-PINARD ON THE FOURTH LINE TO START THE SEASON?
