In an article published by the esteemed Arpon Basu on The Athletic, a major revelation has been made about Carey Price's future within the Montreal Canadiens organization.
Given that his NHL career is now over, there has been much speculation in recent weeks about the possibility of the Canadiens' goalie securing a position within the CH's executive staff.
While some have suggested that he could become a consultant for the team or even head a department dedicated to goalie development, Arpon Basu has dismissed this hypothesis.
In fact, according to information he has obtained, the Canadiens do not expect Carey Price to accept any role with the organization in the near future. The #31 will be leaving Montreal in the coming days, and per Arpon Basu's sources, he has no desire to join the management team for the time being.
The former Canadiens goalie wishes to enjoy his "retirement" by spending time with his family, and we totally understand.
