Logan Mailloux : An announcement from Gary Bettman and the NHL is expected soon

However, the Vegas Golden Knights were crowned champions a few weeks ago, and there has been no update on the young defenseman's case. In fact, training camp will start soon, and Montreal fans are still uncertain about Logan Mailloux and whether he will be allowed to play in the NHL next year.

Sometimes, not having news can be seen as a positive sign, but we would certainly like an official announcement from the commissioner, as Mailloux could certainly complicate matters and earn a spot in Martin St-Louis' lineup for the first game of the season.

The 20-year-old has made significant efforts over the past year to mature and understand the impact of such actions. While some say that the meeting between Bettman and Mailloux would be a mere formality, we must admit that the timing, with the Team Canada Junior scandal, is rather unfortunate at the moment.

Personally, we firmly believe that Logan Mailloux deserves a second chance and the league's authorization to play in the NHL, as he is likely to play a few games with the main club this season.

One thing is for sure, we are still waiting for a resolution in this matter, and we are eagerly anticipating an official verdict.
