The Montreal Canadiens will face the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night at the Bell Centre. It will officially mark the return of Jonathan Drouin, and I sincerely hope that the fans in attendance will give him a lot of love.
One thing is certain, the choice of the goalie is causing some debate. The Canadiens need their best players on the ice if they hope to win, and Samuel Montembeault has been putting in solid performances.
However, Jake Allen will get the start. It's undoubtedly his turn, but many fans and experts wonder if Montembeault should have been in net and Allen saved for Wednesday's game against the Devils.
Without the goaltending situation, there wouldn't even be a question. Montembeault would be in the net. Now, let's hope that number 34 will deliver a solid performance as he's capable of and that he'll have support from his team on the offensive end.
