Very strange scene last night at the Lightning bench involving Victor Hedman

Victor Hedman can be seen arriving at his team's bench and acting very strangely.

Here's the sequence in question:

There is a lot of confusion among people who watched the game. Hedman appears to be in distress, facing an obvious discomfort that is visibly affecting his back.

He grabbed the athletic therapist in a panicked state.

Even the therapist himself seems to be in shock.

It should be noted that earlier in the season, Lightning's number 77 suffered a serious back injury, as well as in the first game of the series. Despite not being definitively at 100%, the veteran defenseman doesn't want to let his team down.

It says a lot about what players are willing to sacrifice physically and mentally to win in the playoffs.

The worst part about all of this? Despite the obvious discomfort, the star defenseman played for over 26 minutes last night. It's unbelievable!

However, these images do not bode well for the rest of the playoffs. Especially if Tampa Bay were to come back from their deficit in the series against the Leafs.
