'It's Horrible!': What Linus Ullmark Said About Montreal Ahead of the Senators-Canadiens Clash Surprises Many

The Swedish goaltender, Linus Ullmark, made a lot of people laugh after an interview with TVA Sports, where he first joked that he hated playing in Montreal.
Before saying the complete opposite a few seconds later.
One thing's for sure: Linus Ullmark knows Montreal very well.
The former Boston Bruins goaltender, now with the Ottawa Senators, has faced the Canadiens many times over the years and understands better than anyone the unique rivalry that connects these two clubs.
Invited by TVA Sports to talk about his memories of games at the Bell Centre, Ullmark first surprised everyone with a spontaneous and humorous response.
Linus Ullmark Playfully Teases Montreal Before Admitting His Love for Montreal Hockey
When asked if he liked playing in Montreal, he first answered without hesitation:
But he quickly burst out laughing before adding:
"No, I enjoy it, I really like it. It's hockey's mecca, it's awesome. There's nothing better than making those people excited."

Ullmark also admitted that he often hears all kinds of things shouted from the stands.
Oh Buddy, I been yelled a lot of things in Montreal... People can get kicked out for yelling so much!... but they were just drunk!"
I find it funny and refreshing to see a player talk about it like that!
And honestly, he's right - it takes character to perform in a market like Montreal, especially when you've played for Boston for so long...
After winning the Vezina Trophy in 2023 with the Bruins, he seems to be enjoying this new rivalry on the Ottawa side.
I can't wait for tomorrow's game... it's going to be a good one!
