The Canadiens don't have a disastrous record, but the way they lose their games is very worrying, especially the last one against the Seattle Kraken.

The score was 4-0 in the first period at one point, which is unacceptable. The Canadiens allowed 5 goals on 10 shots, great scoring chances.

Since then, there have been many calls from fans and analysts for a recall. They wonder if it's time to stir things up front, when there are too many tourists on the ice.

Without the contribution of the first trio, it would be catastrophic. Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki and Juraj Slafkovsky are producing, but that's about it. It needs an electroshock, and Patrik Laine won't arrive right away.

That's when Joshua Roy's name started to come up a lot, then Alex Barré-Boulet's. Pascal Vincent even gave a hint that a recall is indeed possible.

The Rocket head coach was asked for his lineup for tonight's game, and he refused to reveal it, because he is still waiting for the Canadiens to leave for Washington. That means a recall is very possible by Kent Hughes.

We now know that there was no recall and that the Canadiens flew to Washington, but it's still a clue that something is going on with Hughes and Martin St. Louis.

This may be the last chance for some players who are underperforming in Washington, against Alex Ovechkin's gang. Personally, I would really like Christian Dvorak to be replaced by a youngster like Joshua Roy or Barré-Boulet.

Would you like Alex Barré-Boulet to finally have a real chance in the NHL?
