Martin St-Louis reveals his lineup against the Flames as Kaiden Guhle's status is confirmed
Jacob Fowler will be the starting goaltender Wednesday against the Flames, and Martin St-Louis has revealed his lineup.
It will be the Canadiens' first home game of 2026, with puck drop scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
At the morning skate, Martin St-Louis settled the debate in goal by naming Fowler for this matchup.
According to the information available before the game, Calgary could counter with Dustin Wolf, but his status had yet to be confirmed.

Kaiden Guhle will not play Wednesday, even though he skated with the group Tuesday for the first time since mid-October.

So far this season, Fowler holds a 3-2-2 record, a 2.57 goals-against average, and a .903 save percentage, along with one shutout. He will therefore have the task of keeping the Canadiens in the game from the opening minutes.
Up front, Cole Caufield will skate with Nick Suzuki and Alexandre Texier. Juraj Slafkovsky will line up with Oliver Kapanen and Ivan Demidov, forming another closely watched trio.
Zack Bolduc will join Phillip Danault and Brendan Gallagher. Sammy Blais will complete the fourth line alongside Joe Veleno and Owen Beck.
On defense, Mike Matheson will be paired with Noah Dobson.
Lane Hutson will skate with Alexandre Carrier, while Arber Xhekaj will be paired with Jayden Struble.
Slafkovsky comes in with 11 points in seven games, while Mikael Backlund arrives riding a seven-game streak with 10 points and a +8 rating.
Calgary, despite sitting 30th overall in the standings, is only five points out of a playoff spot.
