New info surfaces on why Adam Engstrom was called up to the Canadiens

A new update has just dropped about Adam Engstrom, right before his game with the Canadiens, and it really changes how we see his call-up.
Several pieces of information now confirm that the team didn't bring him up just to be a "placeholder."
According to what Marco D'Amico explained, the Canadiens want to evaluate their entire defensive group, including Engstrom, to understand what he can offer in the short term.

This means that if Engstrom performs well, he could realistically stay with the team. It's not just a one-off audition. Let's not forget what Pierre LeBrun reported earlier:
"Engstrom, like, he's a guy I know that a lot of teams around the league have circled and said, I wonder if we can get him out of Montreal."

For his part, Engstrom is living a special moment, and you can feel it in his words before his game:
