Patrik Laine hates facing two players, one of them is a name that everyone knows very well

Patrik Laine's trade to the Montreal Canadiens has indeed thrilled fans and brought a new dynamic to the team.

His arrival has generated excitement in the city, as evidenced by the many supporters present in Brossard to watch his first practices in the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge.

Since his acquisition, Laine has shown a friendly and entertaining side of his personality. He has also demonstrated generosity by interviewing a young teenager on the YouTube channel Jake's Takes.

During this interview, Laine revealed the two players he finds the most difficult to face in the NHL:

"I would say Victor Hedman just because of how good he is. He is so fast, so big, so strong, and so good with his stick. He is a nightmare to play against."

Patrik Laine did not mince words when it came to Connor McDavid:

"There's also obviously Connor McDavid. There's nothing you can do against him! When he picks up the puck in his zone, all you can do is pray he doesn't go and score!"

Fortunately for Laine, he will only have to face McDavid and the Oilers twice this season. As for Victor Hedman, he will face him three times in the regular season, possibly more if the Canadiens make the playoffs and there's a matchup between Montreal and Tampa Bay.

Laine also expressed his enthusiasm for his role as a veteran on the team, despite being only 26 years old. He is ready to share his experience and guide the young players:

"I think we will have a pretty dangerous group on the ice. It's a bit weird to be one of the oldest players even though I'm only 26. I've been in the league for a long time already, and I've seen and experienced a lot. I hope to be able to share my knowledge with the young players and help them in certain situations."

Laine seems ready to make a big impact in Montreal, and fans have good reason to be excited for the upcoming season.
