It's reassuring to read such positive things after having seen less favorable reports about him. We know that four of his teammates had requested his trade, but the organization decided to keep him.
There is also a lot of talk about him not being liked in Winnipeg, but I prefer to believe that he was appreciated and is ready to take on a leadership role with the Canadiens.
I would have been very surprised if Kent Hughes took the risk of disrupting his locker room. We know that the Canadiens' players are very close-knit, and Patrik Laine will be a great addition to the group.
