In Montreal, the local puck drop is usually at 7:00 PM. On Wednesday night, however, it's a 7:30 PM start.
The schedule clearly shows Calgary vs. Montreal at 7:30 PM at the Bell Centre. For many fans, it's a small change that causes big confusion. The evening shifts, both for those in attendance and those watching on TV.
"Habs will have a 10:30am morning skate at the Bell Centre ahead of tonight's game vs. the Flames

Note the start time is 7:30pm ET"

Montreal Canadiens: the organization changes its routine for tonight's game

After 42 games, the Canadiens have 23 wins and 52 points. After 42 games, the Flames have 18 wins and 40 points. This is therefore an important matchup to keep pace, especially at home.
Jacob Fowler will be in net against the Calgary Flames! Fowler has played 7 games, with a 2.57 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage.
In short, remember the essentials before planning your dinner: 7:30 PM, not 7:00 PM. Wednesday night features a later start than usual. And at the Bell Centre, the atmosphere never waits.
