Very powerful and meaningful testimony from Kirby Dach following the victory

Kirby Dach was injured for 80 games last year, meaning he hadn't scored in a year and a half before his goal on Saturday
It was actually in March 2023 that he scored his last goal in the NHL, which is a very long wait. He was then injured to end the season, then played only one and a half games last year.
Back this year after almost a year of absence, the results are slow to come, but he really played a good game in Saturday's victory. It's normal that he needs time to adapt after such an absence.
After the game, he spoke to his teammates in the locker room and the sequence was filmed. We can see a very emotional Kirby Dach thanking everyone for being there for him.
I personally remember his last game last year and the diagnosis that came a few days later. I told myself it would take a long time for him.
A year later, even if it passed quickly, I am convinced that it was an endless wait for him and that he put a lot of effort into coming back in great shape.
His message is very touching for the emotion that comes with it, but also very powerful for all the meaning it has. It is a message of hope for everyone who is going through difficult times and who must not give up.
I really hope for Kirby and for the Canadiens that this meeting will bring him out of his shell, because Kirby Dach has the potential to become a star in the NHL.
