On Thursday, Lane Hutson once again found a way to skate-even on Christmas Day.

Number 48 joined some young players on a rink in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough, then took photos with them afterward. It was a simple but meaningful moment, especially after the Canadiens' 6-2 win over the Bruins in Boston on Tuesday, where Hutson picked up three assists.
Here is the sequence in question below:
On the ice this season, Hutson has 35 points in 37 games, including five goals and 30 assists. He also carries a +7 plus-minus, which has not gone unnoticed for a 21-year-old defenseman who is already leading the Canadiens' blue line in scoring.

Lane Hutson and Ivan Demidov draw attention

In recent hours, a post circulating in Montreal shows Ivan Demidov also laced up his skates at the same location, on a Bleu Blanc Bouge rink.
Here is the sequence:
Demidov, 20, already has 30 points this season, with nine goals and 21 assists. He is playing big minutes for a rookie, and his name comes up often when talking about the young players who get the Bell Centre buzzing.
When two young stars choose a neighborhood rink on December 25, it sends a strong message!
We love it!
