It is next week that NHL games will take place in Quebec City, and it's a great opportunity to prove to Gary Bettman that the market is strong in the capital.

The Remparts can fill the Videotron Centre, so the NHL should also be able to sell all the tickets, but a catastrophe is currently unfolding.
As of today, 8,000 tickets still haven't been sold for the two games, which could lead to significant losses.
Nearly 20% of the tickets remain unsold, which is disastrous for the image it sends to Gary Bettman, but also for the taxpayers.
Let's remember that Quebec subsidized these events up to a maximum of $7 million, which had sparked outrage among residents and the entire province.
The potential losses from these events are serious, but what's even worse is the message it sends to Gary Bettman.
If Quebec cannot fill the arena for just two NHL games, it's certain that the commissioner will be even less reassured.
