Rumors surrounding Boston Bruins center Pavel Zacha are picking up steam, and the Canadiens are reportedly trying to acquire him.

For now, there aren't many details on what the Bruins are asking for the Czech forward, but it's fair to assume the price must be reasonable if Kent Hughes is showing interest.
Pavel Zacha is an imposing forward. Drafted 6th overall by the Devils in 2015, it took him time to establish himself in the NHL.
A left-handed center with a strong shot and solid defensive reliability - he's exactly the type of player the Canadiens have been seeking.

Pavel Zacha Would Be a Major Addition for the Montreal Canadiens

We'll be following the situation closely, but for now, it's already generating plenty of buzz on social media.
"Pavel Zacha is on the Habs radar according to Marco.

A 6'3", 206-pound left-handed center, 28 years old, producing at a 55-point pace over 82 games during the last 3 seasons, while maintaining a faceoff win rate above 50% in that span.

He has 2 years left on his contract with an annual salary of $4,750,000.

Clearly, he checks all the boxes.

Curious to see what the cost would be!
