Pierre-Luc Dubois Saga: Fans Are Furious, and We Have the Details

57, that's the number of games Pierre-Luc Dubois has played with the Los Angeles Kings. It seems that it's also the limit that many fans were willing to tolerate.

Indeed, Dubois has the unfortunate reputation of being inconsistent and nonchalant. He doesn't show up to work every day with his boots tightly laced, let's say.

The Kings paid a hefty price to acquire him and granted him a lucrative eight-year contract. This deal is already turning sour, and fans are strongly expressing their dissatisfaction on social media.

I'm sick of his shit. Even with 1.2 secs left in the game the way he just unilaterally decides to not even shoot there and just cruise off while others are hunched ready for a rebound. Play to the goddamn whistle.

Enough is enough. 57 games. I'm done with him."

It's safe to say that the message is clear. Dubois has everything to be dominant, and when he puts in the effort, he can be dominant. He has the talent, the physique, the speed, but he lacks heart, according to many.

Clearly, his 26 points in 57 games are a problem, but not as much as his lack of effort. Hopefully, he will bounce back quickly because seven more years in a market where people hate him will be long.
