Another blow for the Canadiens: long-term injury to a forward

The Canadiens received some very bad news on the eve of the upcoming season, as a forward will be out for several months due to an injury.
After
Kirby Dach last year, who missed the remaining 80 games of the season after a match against his former team, now Rafaël Harvey-Pinard will be unavailable for four months.
"Forward Rafaël Harvey-Pinard underwent successful surgery on Thursday after suffering a broken leg. The recovery period for the 25-year-old winger is estimated to be four months."

This is truly terrible news for the Canadiens and for the player. The upcoming training camp was crucial for Rafaël, who was uncertain about securing a spot in the team's starting lineup.
It's also very unfortunate for Martin St-Louis, who will have to do without his Swiss Army knife, a forward who can fill multiple roles.
It's really a shame, and it must be incredibly tough for Harvey-Pinard right now. Mentally, he must be struggling.
Rafaël is in the final year of his contract, and we know what he's capable of when he's healthy. If injuries finally leave him alone after his return, he could become an important piece of the Canadiens' success for many years to come.
