A bit of light in the case of former Canadiens player Corey Perry, as new information is revealed

Yesterday, completely false and absurd rumors surfaced regarding Corey Perry. The forward is currently away from the game, and what's mysterious is that both the Blackhawks and Perry seem to be indicating that it's their respective decision.

According to Frank Seravalli, it's possible that the decision comes from both parties:

"What is very clear is that it's a disciplinary measure coming directly from the Chicago Blackhawks. When you say he will be kept away from the team in the near future, and then he releases his own official statement saying he's taking time with his loved ones for personal reasons...

The truth is that the Blackhawks have taken the step of deciding to keep him away from the team, so I don't know how it's going to end, I don't know where it's going, but both of these things can happen. You can take time away for personal reasons, and you may also have been told to stay away at the same time.

At least now, we know that the team has asked him to step aside. If Corey needs help, let's hope he seeks it. There's no shame in that.
