Alert: Signing with the Montreal Canadiens
The Canadiens have just announced the signing of forward Philippe Maillet and defenseman Brady Keeper. Both players have agreed to one-year, two-way contracts with the team.
"MONTREAL - Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes announced on Saturday that the team has agreed to terms on one-year, two-way contracts with forward Philippe Maillet and defenseman Brady Keeper."
Philippe Maillet has spent the past two seasons in the KHL, where he accumulated 92 points in 113 games. The Quebec native also recorded 59 goals and 100 assists (159 points) in 217 games with the Ontario Reign and Hershey Bears in the AHL.
As for Brady Keeper, the defenseman played for the Abbotsford Canucks last season, collecting 6 points in 35 games. Since his arrival in professional ranks, the 6'2" and 197-pound defenseman has played two games in the NHL with the Florida Panthers.
