Breaking: The verdict has officially been reached regarding forward Trevor Zegras

The name of Trevor Zegras has been at the center of numerous trade rumors over the past few weeks, him being still without a contract for the 2023-2024 season.

However, despite the many speculations, the 9th overall pick in 2019 has just signed a three-season contract extension that will earn him an annual salary of $5.75 million with the Anaheim Ducks.

This is excellent news for the Californian organization, who can finally count on the return of their star forward, and this, before the season officially kicks off.
