Could the return of Marc Bergevin as general manager be announced in the coming days?

For several weeks, Marc Bergevin's name has been circulating throughout the NHL as a potential target for teams in search of a new general manager.

Frank Seravalli specifically mentioned that the Calgary Flames organization had met with the former Canadiens' GM last week. Stan Bowman, Dave Nonis, and Craig Conroy also had interviews with the Alberta-based team.

However, according to Frank Seravalli, Craig Conroy is the favorite for the general manager position, but nothing has been confirmed yet, hence Marc Bergevin is part of the four finalists.

He also added that it would not be surprising if the Flames make an official announcement regarding this matter in the coming days.
