Huge development for Florian Xhekaj: he has become a monster
In the last few hours, we have learned some relevant information regarding the Montreal Canadiens' prospects, as the team's rookie camp has officially begin.
We notably obtained a very interesting detail about Arber Xhekaj's brother, Florian, in connection with a drastic change in his measurements.
Described as a "unicorn" by the co-director of amateur scouting, Nick Bobrov, Florian has experienced remarkable growth in just a few months, growing from 5 feet 10 inches at the start of last season to 6 feet 3 inches, according to the official measurements of the Canadiens this week.
At the same time, he has also gained muscle mass, now weighing 188 pounds. It's highly likely that he will probably tip the scales at 200 pounds in the coming months.
Another quite incredible growth spurt, as he emulates his brother Arber, who had advanced greatly in a very short time, physically. Now let's hope that he can also take a big step on the ice, showcasing some beautiful offensive skills, during his next season in the OHL.
