For several years now, the name Connor Bedard has drawn a tremendous amount of attention. Due to his striking successes in junior hockey and the media attention towards him over the last few seasons, the very recent first overall pick is continually the centre of attention.
Since he is a quiet young man in his personal life, not being an extroverted human being and rather being of a reserved nature, all of this is a huge storm with which he must cope, and that, from a very young age.
He has just made a big revelation that says a lot about his mindset towards all this media attention. He mentioned that if he were a "fan," he would be outright tired of hearing about himself.
"I would be so tired of hearing about me if I were a fan. There has been way too much stuff about me, articles, interviews, and everything. I've barely played a game in the NHL.

Being a terribly humble person, who hates to talk about himself before the team, it is clear that everything that is currently happening around him overwhelms him. Bedard does not seek attention at the expense of others, and it once again proves that he is an exceptional athlete, who wishes to focus only on hockey.
