In the last few hours, Joel Armia finally responded to his return to the Laval Rocket. Although he is sometimes known for a somewhat questionable work ethic, the 30-year-old Finn showed impeccable attitude, stating he wished to give his utmost to help the Canadiens' AHL affiliate team.
However, we are delighted to see that his current situation doesn't overly concern him and he's fully committed to contributing to the success of the Laval Rocket. There's no doubt he has the talent to dominate in the American League, being an asset to the team coached by Jean-François Houle.
Furthermore, having played over 430 games in the NHL, his experience is likely to lend significant support to the organization's prospects. Young forwards like Joshua Roy, Sean Farrell, Riley Kidney, and Jared Davidson stand to learn a lot alongside him.
Joining a lineup filled with talented and promising young players, it wouldn't be surprising to see him have significant success. One thing's for sure, if Joel Armia decides to play at 110% night after night, he might earn a recall to the main team soon.
