In preparation for tonight's game against the Vegas Golden Knights, the Canadiens held their morning practice at the Bell Centre, as has been the custom since last year.

It was with great surprise that we learned Cayden Primeau would have the challenging task of stopping the Knights' offense, marking his third start of the season. We are far from the days of Carey Price's prime, where the number one goalie could play over 60 games.
Three players were notably absent from practice: Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, Sean Monahan, and Brendan Gallagher. Without these two warriors and their top center, the Tricolore would be in trouble, to say the least.
For now, only RHP has been confirmed as injured and will be evaluated daily. It's suspected that his recent injury has resurfaced.
As for the other two, it's quite concerning, but everything indicates they will be in uniform. Given their injury history, we will have to monitor them closely. It would be catastrophic if they were to miss games, especially considering their strong start to the season, playing on the same line. It would leave a significant gap in the lineup.
