Just recently, the General Manager of the Canadiens, Kent Hughes, made a significant decision for the Laval Rocket by signing a one-year, one-way contract with Quebec forward Alex-Olivier Voyer. This agreement will allow Voyer to join several Tricolore prospects in Laval next season.

Quebec right-winger Alex-Olivier Voyer, aged 24, had a remarkable season with the Maine Mariners in the ECHL last season. Registering 43 points in 48 games, he significantly contributed to the offensive of the club affiliated with the Boston Bruins.

Voyer also had the opportunity to play in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Providence Bruins, where he amassed 16 points in 70 matches. These experiences in professional ranks have allowed him to develop his game and continue to progress in his journey.

At the junior level, Voyer had an exceptional season with the Sherbrooke Phoenix in the QMJHL in 2019-2020, where he collected 44 goals and 44 assists in 63 games.
