The Montreal Canadiens are indeed aiming to add depth in front of the organization's net.

After three goaltender selections in the last draft, another goalkeeper lands in the Canadiens' affiliate.
We have just learned that Kent Hughes has signed free agent Strauss Mann to a contract with the Laval Rocket.
"The Rocket agrees to the terms of a one-way, one-season contract with defenseman Tobie Paquette-Bisson and goalie Strauss Mann." - Laval Rocket

For those who don't know him, he had a blazing university career with the University of Michigan.
In 2020: 18 wins, 13 losses, an average of 1.85, and a save percentage of 0.940.
In 2021: 11 wins, 9 losses, an average of 1.89, and a save percentage of 0.930.
In 2022, he had very good performance in the SHL, the best European league, posting a record of 13 wins and 9 losses, an average of 2.19, and a save percentage of 0.915.
At 24 years old, he could certainly be the type of goalie who develops slowly and can also surprise at any moment.
