Last-minute signing in the Montreal Canadiens organization: A hometown forward, Nicolas Guay, has signed a one-year contract with the Lions
The past few days have been eventful in the Montreal Canadiens organization. Hometown forward Nicolas Guay has signed a one-year contract extension with the Canadiens' affiliate team, the Trois-Rivières Lions.
"And yes! Nicolas Guay will be back with the Lions for the 2023-2024 season! He, who played every game last season, is determined to continue his offensive success and contribute to the team's success under the guidance of Pascal Rhéaume!" - Trois-Rivières Lions
The Châteauguay native will return to the Trois-Rivières squad for the 2023-2024 season. Last season, Guay recorded a total of 12 goals and 35 assists (47 points) in 72 games, being the only player on the team to play in every game.
This is an excellent signing for the Lions, as they will have an offensive contributor who also excels defensively. There is no doubt that Nicolas Guay will have a crucial role in the team's success next season.
