Over the past few hours, a new signing occurred within the Montreal Canadiens organization. Indeed, the 21-year-old goaltender, Marco Costantini, signed a one-season deal with the ECHL affiliate team, the Trois-Rivières Lions.
This is an excellent addition for the Trois-Rivières team, having performed admirably in his last two seasons in the OHL. The former netminder for the Kitchener Rangers and the Hamilton Bulldogs amassed a record of 54 wins, 25 losses, and 9 overtime defeats in the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons.
He also posted impressive stats, with a goals-against average of 2.75 and a save percentage of 0.908. It will be intriguing to see if he can secure the number one spot, especially competing against former Canadiens prospect Joe Vrbetic.
