We learned tragic news this morning, the passing of Yvon Pedneault, an iconic figure in the Quebec media world. After over 60 years of covering the sporting activities of our favorite teams, Mr. Pedneault passed away following a health issue that unfortunately worsened rapidly.
Assigned to cover the news of the Tricolore for many years, his departure leaves a huge void. The Montreal Canadiens notably responded to the news by issuing an official statement thanking the journalist for his tremendous work over the past decades and offering their deepest condolences to those affected by this tragedy.
Quebec mourns this morning, and we wish, once again, to send our thoughts to Mr. Pedneault's family and friends.
