Alex Newhook injured during a brutal start to the Canadiens' game, as Montreal trails 0-4 and the night takes a seriously alarming turn.
Another very bad night for the Habs so far...
The start of the game went downhill fast when Alex Newhook collapsed after a violent crash into the boards.
The medical staff was called immediately, and it doesn't look good.
According to the video, it's the right leg that absorbed the entire impact.
And honestly, there was nothing reassuring about it.

Newhook leaves the game in a difficult scene
For her part, Priyanta Emrith described the play by explaining that the ankle bent:
Ouf, Habs Alex Newhook was tripped and went feet-first into the boards and needed help getting off the ice and back to the dressing room. Looked like his ankle bent awkwardly against the boards."
