I think he'll get the chance to play more minutes and be used in important situations.
I'm certain the Canadiens want him to develop in a role where he can truly stand out.
Marc Del Gaizo returns to the Laval Rocket
Del Gaizo, 26, was recalled instead of Adam Engstrom or David Reinbacher to accompany the Canadiens.
In six games with the Rocket this season, he has recorded one assist and holds a +2 rating.

Sometimes, returning to Laval isn't a setback.
It's more of an opportunity to play more, take on greater responsibility, and come back better prepared.
Several young Canadiens defensemen have taken the same path before earning their spot with the big club.

It will be very interesting to watch the next call-up from the Montreal Canadiens if it isn't Del Gaizo next time.
Of course, there's David Reinbacher, who's developing well and playing with more confidence. And also Adam Engstrom, who continues to impress in Laval.
