Canadiens Make Roster Move Following Tough Loss to Flyers

The Montreal Canadiens made a small roster move this morning by recalling defenseman Marc Del Gaizo from the Laval Rocket.
It's not a major change, but he'll travel with the team as the 7th defenseman for the trip to New York.
This is already the second time the Habs have called him up. He was also part of the western road trip earlier this season.
So, he already knows the system and has performed well with the Rocket since the start of the year.
In my opinion, it's just a precautionary measure - a logical move to avoid any surprises on the road.

Here's Marco D'Amico's explanation for the move:
"Why would the Canadiens call up Marc Del Gaizo and not Adam Engstrom or David Reinbacher?
The Canadiens don't want to bother the development of their young defencemen at the moment. They strongly believe consistency and lots of playing time is more important for them."

The Canadiens will be in New Jersey tomorrow night to face the Devils, with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m.
