Defenseman Jayden Struble has officially signed a new contract with the Montreal Canadiens.

The blueliner has been doing honest work with the team, and this announcement is being welcomed by Montreal fans.
At the 2019 NHL Draft, Marc Bergevin and the leadership of the Montreal organization decided to select defenseman Jayden Struble in the 2nd round, 46th overall.
After playing a few games in the AHL with the Laval Rocket, the native of Cumberland-a village in British Columbia located in the Comox-Strathcona Regional District-finally made the jump to the big club in 2023-24.
Struble isn't the flashiest defenseman, but he does honest work on the ice and brings a physical edge.
Jayden Struble has just agreed to a new two-season contract with Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens.
2 more years in Montreal for Jayden Struble!
On social media, the Montreal organization just announced fantastic news: they have officially reached a deal with Jayden Struble. He was the last RFA on the team.
The agreement is for two seasons, and the defenseman will earn $1,412,500 annually.
An excellent piece of news!
