Martin St-Louis confirms very bad news for the Canadiens

In a few hours, at the time of writing these lines, the Canadiens will face the New York Rangers. For the occasion, Martin St-Louis confirmed bad news.

Indeed, it's still without Kaiden Guhle and Arber Xhekaj that the team will have to defend itself against the powerful Blue Shirts.

Not only are they strong on the attack, they also don't shy away from physical play. With captain Jacob Trouba and tough guy Matt Rempe, the absences of Guhle and Xhekaj will be sorely felt.

Kaiden is very good at facing the best opposing elements, while Xhekaj is a true enforcer who maintains order. Unfortunately, these two aspects will not be filled against an NHL powerhouse.

Although I applaud the courage of Michael Pezzetta, who dropped the gloves against Ryan Reaves for the second time in his career on Saturday night, I don't wish for him to have to deal with Rempe.

It didn't end well for him against the tough guy from the Leafs, and it could be humiliating against the 6'7" giant as well.

One thing is certain, the Canadiens will have to come out strong to hope for a win, especially since the Rangers didn't play on Saturday night.
