He's finally letting his energy and personality shine off it.
We saw it a few weeks ago: the season had started off rough for Kirby Dach.
The play wasn't fluid.
The tempo wasn't there.
And you could sense a bit of frustration in certain sequences.
But over the past few games, you can tell something has changed.

On the ice, I find that Dach looks lighter.
More confident.
More like himself.
In my opinion, he's skating with conviction.
His line with Zachary Bolduc and Brendan Gallagher is starting to look like something.
It's not just the points... it's the engagement.
That's what Martin St-Louis highlighted recently when talking about his work in both zones.
And then there was this moment this morning, shared by journalist Anthony Martineau.
Dach burst out laughing when he saw a jersey with the inscription KIRBY BACK.
His reaction:

I think this shows that Dach is starting to feel good again.
To feel present.

And you can see it in his game and his attitude.
Personally, I believe moments like this matter just as much as goals, because they show where a player is mentally - and that changes everything... especially in Montreal.
