Tyler Toffoli will be a free agent on July 1st, and many people would like to see him return to the Canadiens.
Both he and his wife love Montreal, the organization, and the fans, and I must admit that I liked him as well and he would be an asset on the second line without costing too much.
The forward obviously still has the Canadiens in his heart, as he was spotted in Toronto wearing a Habs jersey.
He went to cheer on the Blue Jays, and he had a blue, white, and red Canadiens jersey in a bag!
All of this continues to fuel rumors about him. While he was in Montreal the day before for dinner with Jake Evans and his wife, here he is in Toronto with a Canadiens jersey.
A great catch for Kent Hughes
Toffoli is a goal scorer, exactly what Montreal needs. He would bring some punch to the second line alongside Kirby Dach.
At 32 years old, he has just completed two seasons with 34 and 33 goals, despite changes in team and environments.
Under the guidance of Martin St-Louis, this could spark some fireworks!
