The Seattle Kraken have once again been questionnable on Shane Wright

Shane Wright is experiencing very good moments with the Kraken, and despite this, he has once again been dealt a questionable move.

Indeed, the fourth overall pick in 2022 has scored 4 goals and 1 assist in the 5 games he's played since being recalled, but he has still been sent back down to the American Hockey League.

"The #SeaKraken have reassigned forwards Shane Wright, Logan Morrison and Ryan Winterton to the Coachella Valley @Firebirds." - Seattle Kraken

Okay, we understand that the Firebirds will be in the playoffs and that Wright will be an important element, but that will begin after the Kraken's season. Wright could have finished in the NHL before going back.

However, he has played 8 games this year, and if he reaches 9 games, he will burn the first year of his three-year entry-level contract. It's clear that the Kraken are managing his situation solely to extend his entry-level contract, which is poorly received at this stage.

We truly hope that the young man can finally begin his career in the NHL next season or at least burn the first year of his contract.
