Controversial statement on Gary Bettman and the NHL: The return of the Quebec Nordiques will have to wait, and fans are furious

Now, that's enough. It's sufficient. I simply can't believe how Commissioner Gary Bettman is so stubborn, doing everything for the American teams while neglecting the Canadian market.
While the city of Quebec patiently awaits a call from the NHL, with a pool of passionate fans, an arena, and investors in place, Gary insists on keeping a team in Arizona, to the detriment of the League's reputation, and there's more.
According to David Pagnotta, the next expansions will be in Salt Lake City and Atlanta.
"It's been a bit quieter on the expansion chatter lately, because of the deadline, but it's sounding like there's continued progress towards Atlanta 3.0 and word of a proposed arena district seems to have Sept/Oct timeline. Utah 33. Atlanta 34." - Pagnotta
The issue here is that the city of Atlanta has already hosted an NHL team twice in the past, and it didn't end well. Bettman still wants to send a third franchise there.
Add this to the 31 consecutive years of Stanley Cup victories by American teams since Bettman's arrival, and we have a cocktail of raw frustration.
When even hockey fans in the United States are calling for Quebec to have a team, it's starting to become a real farce.
