The excellent journalist Arpon Basu was on BPM Sports to talk about the young forward who is struggling to find his place with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
He also mentioned something interesting about Kent Johnson, a 21-year-old forward for the Columbus Blue Jackets.
"The guy I see, who intrigues me, I don't know if the Canadiens are intrigued too, but Kent Johnson's case in Columbus, it intrigues me."
"He's a bit in the same situation as the other two players (acquired by the Canadiens in the past, Kirby Dach and Alex Newhook), and we don't know what the new management will do with him."
Kent Johnson would be an interesting candidate if we rely on Kent Hughes' comments earlier this week. Kent Johnson would cost less than Trevor Zegras on the current market for a trade.
"It's a call I would make to see where the Blue Jackets stand with this player."

Kent Johnson, a young center standing 6 feet tall and weighing 178 pounds, aged 21, drafted fifth overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2021, has amassed 22 goals and 37 assists for 59 points in 130 career games.
Many names are circulating; the offseason will not be restful for the Canadiens!
