The Canadiens and the NHL lose a monument with the passing of BC
We have just received tragic news for the Canadiens and the NHL community across Canada.
Bob Cole was the voice of hockey, especially on Saturday nights. He described numerous games at the Bell Centre.
According to Maple Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe, this is a monumental loss.
"Sheldon Keefe describes the late Bob Cole as an 'icon,' adding: 'Someone who has touched the game in so many ways. The voice of hockey not only in Toronto, but in our entire country.'" - Via Chris Johnston
We extend our deepest condolences to Bob's family and friends.
His voice will forever be etched in our memories, as he had a career spanning over 50 years!
