Disaster for the Montreal Canadiens: A warrior must lower his flag, and replacing Rafaël Harvey-Pinard will be a challenge
Indeed, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard took a nasty fall in the first period. He returned in the 2nd, but was quickly tested, and his injury was confirmed. He did not return to the game after that.
From what can be seen, it looks like his right ankle took the brunt of the blow. He tried to push through the pain, but the next contact confirmed that he was indeed injured.
Martin St-Louis will now have quite a challenge to replace him, as RHP is a true Swiss Army knife, a very important player in the lineup.
Let's hope it's not too serious and that he will be back on his feet quickly.
