A monster trade proposal involving Adam Fantilli and the Canadiens has just been brought up

Leading up to the NHL Draft, many fans allow themselves to speculate on the various trades that the general managers of the NHL should be making.

A new trade proposal involving the Anaheim Ducks' 2nd overall pick and the Canadiens has notably just surfaced on social media.

Here is the trade proposal in question:

The Canadiens would receive:
– 2nd overall pick (Adam Fantilli)


The Ducks would receive:
– 5th overall pick (Matvei Michkov, Will Smith or Leo Carlsson?)
– Logan Mailloux
– Joshua Roy

Personally, we wouldn't make this trade!

Although Adam Fantilli is an exceptional player, the idea of parting with two prospects as promising as Logan Mailloux and Joshua Roy is hard to accept.

Especially considering that the Canadiens could possibly get Matvei Michkov at the 5th draft rank, and the Russian prodigy is considered by many experts as the second best player in the 2023 crop.
