The Eastern Conference Final between the Florida Panthers and the Carolina Hurricanes kicked off tonight at the PNC Arena. During the pre-game show on TNT, we were treated to a simply hilarious scene between Wayne Gretzky and Paul Bissonnette.
The former Coyotes player took a shot at Wayne Gretzky, remarking that the Oilers' offense wasn't balanced at all, and it was unusual to see players clocking 25 minutes per game.
However, the greatest player in NHL history had the best comeback. While Paul Bissonnette was siding with Toronto, Gretzky made fun of them by saying their players are on milk cartons. He was alluding to the fact that the top scorers were completely invisible in the second round of the playoffs.
Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, John Tavares, and William Nylander were simply absent against the Panthers. Combined, the four forwards collected a measly nine points in five games.
