Wow! This is a much less appealing proposal than the one from the Kings mentioned by Kevin Wiebe yesterday, but it is still very reassuring to see that the Habs are not planning to fall into a huge bidding war in order to pay an excessive price to acquire Pierre-Luc Dubois' services.
While Pierre-Luc Dubois had an excellent season with a haul of 63 points in 73 games, Kirby Dach showed very promising signs last season, and he could emerge in the coming years. Moreover, unlike Dubois' astronomical salary demands (9 million dollars for 8 seasons), Kirby Dach has a much more advantageous contract, earning a salary of 3.363 million dollars for the next three seasons.
If Kevin Cheveldayoff would be willing to accept a package including Josh Anderson, Christian Dvorak, and two prospects, would you like to see the 24-year-old forward come to Montreal?
